This stunning Regency chest on chest is a rare find, presented in excellent condition and showcasing a rich, warm colour of mahogany.
The piece is crafted with impeccable attention to detail and features a traditional bow front design that adds a graceful curve to the overall silhouette.
Comprising three pieces, the top section is crowned with a beautifully arched pediment, adorned with intricate string inlay work. Beneath this, the chest features two short over three long, graduated drawers, each with elegant brass lion mask handles and finely cockbeaded drawer fronts. The drawers are constructed from solid oak with dovetail joints, ensuring both durability and quality.
The base chest has a reeded seat, providing a sturdy foundation for the upper section. It offers an additional three long graduated drawers, all set above a shaped apron and resting on splayed bracket feet.
