A profusely carved oak library writing table, circa 1880.
Beautiful carved oak construction, this is a really interesting desk. Having a new thick leather hide inset, with tooled edging and hand dyed to create an aged red colour.
Heavily carved all around, with frieze drawers at the front flanked either side by carved figures.
Raised on chunky turned and carved legs, with casters.
Great looking piece of solid furniture, large size and in great condition.
