A well-proportioned walnut nest of tables comprising a rectangular top table and two square occasional tables, each fitting neatly beneath. The tables are raised on elegant cabriole legs carved with shell and foliate detail to the knees, terminating in pad feet.
The two smaller tables retain their original inset glass top, protecting the figured walnut surfaces beneath while allowing the rich grain to remain visible. The aprons are crisply shaped, and the carving is of good quality, giving the set a refined yet practical presence.
Both functional and decorative, this nest would work equally well in a traditional sitting room or a more eclectic interior, providing flexible surface space when required.
