This magnificent Victorian 4-door sideboard is made from beautifully figured mahogany that radiates warmth and character. Dating from 1860, with a rich, lustrous polish that highlights the stunning flame mahogany grain throughout.
The sideboard features a generously proportioned rectangular top with a refined moulded edge, below the top, the shaped frieze holds 3 drawers along the front.
Below this, an arrangement of four panelled doors, each adorned with attractively grained mahogany framed by gently arched, moulded edges. The doors open to reveal a thoughtfully designed interior: on the left, two sliding shelves provide practical storage; the central cupboard offers a spacious shelf that’s perfect for larger pieces; and the right-hand section features a fixed shelf above a deep cellerette drawer with a classic brass swan neck handle.
With working lock and key and standing on a sturdy plinth base.
