A quality Regency pollard oak games table of striking colour and highly figured grain, the rectangular top with rounded corners and a beautifully carved egg-and-dart moulded edge. The hinged top opens to reveal the original baize-lined playing surface framed in pollard oak.
The frieze is enriched with carved roundels and bold scrolled volutes to each corner, typical of high-end Regency design. Beneath, a reeded and tapering central column rises from a crisply carved lotus base, standing on an elegant quatreform platform with turned bosses and original bun feet.
