A handsome Regency mahogany dressing table mirror, dating to the early 19th century, of elegant proportions and refined design. The mirror plate is set within a well-figured mahogany frame with a gently shaped cresting, flanked by turned uprights terminating in original brass finials, and supported on classic adjustable side supports.
The base is of serpentine form, fitted with three graduated drawers, each retaining its original brass swan-neck handles, with the central drawer retaining its original lock escutcheon. The drawers are constructed with fine dovetail joints, reflecting the quality craftsmanship of the period, and the whole stands on shaped bracket feet.
