A fine Regency period mahogany dressing table mirror dating from circa 1820, featuring a beautifully figured rectangular mirror plate held within a mahogany frame supported by elegant reeded uprights surmounted with turned finials.
The bow-fronted base is fitted with three drawers, retaining attractive turned bone handles and standing on shaped bracket feet. The richly figured mahogany displays wonderful colour and patination throughout, with particularly attractive flame figuring across the drawer fronts and top.
The mirror retains its original adjustable brass side fittings, allowing the plate to be tilted to the desired angle. Both decorative and practical, this charming Regency dressing mirror would make an elegant addition to a bedroom, dressing room or period interior.
Condition:
Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear and minor marks commensurate with use and age. The mirror plate displays some light foxing and surface imperfections consistent with its period.
