Rare Victorian Teak Campaign Side Cabinet

A superb and rare Victorian teak campaign military side cabinet, dating from the mid 19th century, in very good condition and of outstanding quality.

This fine piece has the classic elegance of campaign furniture, designed for durability and practicality, crafted in rich solid teak, it boasts a warm patina and a beautifully figured grain, enhanced by its brass fittings and details.

The cabinet features, two-panelled doors with a brass closing strip and working lock with key. The doors open to reveal three fitted drawers within. The drawers have a unique brass locking mechanism that secures all three drawers simultaneously.

Original brass carrying handles to each side.

With brass-mounted corners for strength and protection during travel.

Raised on turned bun feet.
