An aircraft propellor made by Airscrew, Weybridge Surrey for the Hermes IV aircraft. Dated 1940 and stamped D2030 and also DEC/32. The Hermes Mark IV aircraft refers to the Handley Page Hermes specifically the Mark IV variant which was a civil airliner developed in the 1940’s closely related to the Handley Page Hastings military transport and was intended for use on long haul routes. The Hermes IV was a four engine low wing mono blade.
