A stunning pair of mahogany side chairs stamped Holland and Sons. Beautifully carved heart shaped backs. Mid 19th century.

Holland and Sons specialised in fine quality furniture and were one of the main competitors to Gillows. The companys Day books are now housed in the V & A where they present a virtual ‘who’s who’ of 19th century society – including Queen Victoria herself.
