Description
A handsome pair of 19th‑century mahogany hall chairs, each with a crisply carved backrest featuring scrolling foliage and a central oval cartouche. The rich, dark timber is beautifully figured, and the carving is executed with the precision and flourish typical of the period. Turned front legs and shaped rear supports complete the design, giving the chairs a refined yet sturdy presence. Perfect for a hallway, landing or decorative accent, this pair offers both sculptural appeal and practical versatility. Presented in excellent antique condition with only light, age‑appropriate wear, they remain strong, stable and full of character.
