Circa 1870. Neat-sized Victorian burr walnut ladies’ writing desk. The rectangular top with a gilt tooled green writing surface, figured walnut cross banding and moulded edges above a frieze drawer with mahogany drawer linings (sign of quality). All supported on two cupboards with dummy drawer fronts with brass handles, opening to shelved cupboards both over neat bases with hidden castors.
