A useful mid 20th century upholstered ottoman of waisted form, the sides gently curving inward above a shaped wooden plinth base with bun feet.
The hinged lid opens to reveal a generous lined storage compartment, making it an ideal piece for use as a blanket box, bedroom storage or occasional seating. The piece is covered in a soft neutral ground fabric with a subtle all-over pattern, complemented by a decorative patterned top and sides.
Compact in scale yet practical, this ottoman works well in both traditional and more relaxed interiors, offering discreet storage without dominating a space.
The upholstery has faded over time and shows signs of use consistent with age, giving it a relaxed, lived-in character. It would benefit from reupholstery if a fresher finish is desired!
