A mid-Victorian mahogany library writing table dating to circa 1860, executed in the restrained classical taste inspired by earlier Regency designs.
This well-proportioned antique writing table features a beautifully figured mahogany top enclosed by a raised three-quarter gallery, a practical and attractive feature designed to retain books, papers, and writing accessories. The front is fitted with two frieze drawers, each retaining turned wooden knob handles, offering useful storage for stationery and desk items.
