A handsome mahogany bow-fronted single drawer side table, dating to the early 19th century, circa 1800–1820.
The table features a well-figured bow-fronted drawer, fitted with original style brass handles and a central lock, framed by fine boxwood line inlay. It is raised on turned mahogany legs terminating in brass caps and castors, giving both elegance and practicality.
The top has a softly shaped front edge and displays a warm, mellow patina consistent with age. The drawer is constructed in solid oak, a detail typical of quality English furniture of the period, and the table retains pleasing colour and surface throughout.
