Description
A Gothic Revival 2 door wardrobe c1890, having a projected cornice over two moulded doors that open to reveal a hanging rail, with two short drawers and one long drawer below. The wardrobe is pine framed with satinwood veneer, mahogany beading, brass handles to the door and drawers, and original red paint inbetween the slatted panels. The internal measurement is slightly smaller than a modern wardrobe and therefore requires a coat hanger with a flexible hook so that it can be positioned at a slight angle. For ease of transportation the wardrobe comes apart into three sections and is in good condition.
