A good Georgian mahogany wine table dating from circa 1800, standing on a well-proportioned turned column with an attractive spiral carved knop, raised on elegant cabriole tripod legs terminating in pad feet.
The circular one-piece mahogany top displays a lovely rich patina and retains its original birdcage mechanism, allowing the top to rotate and tilt for convenient storage when not in use.
A practical and decorative antique table, ideal as a lamp table, wine table or occasional table, suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Presented in good antique condition with a warm colour and patina throughout. There are the expected marks and signs of use consistent with over 200 years of age, all adding to its character.
