A charming George III period mahogany side table, dating to the late 18th century, and of elegant, understated design. This well-proportioned piece is crafted in solid mahogany, displaying a rich, warm colour and a pleasing, naturally aged patina developed over time.
The rectangular top with moulded edge sits above a single frieze drawer, fitted with a brass swan-neck handle and circular backplates. The drawer is oak-lined and hand-cut, with visible craftsmanship consistent with the period, offering practical storage while retaining its original character.
The table stands on four square, tapering legs, with subtle detailing to the corners, reflecting the restrained refinement typical of Georgian furniture. Its clean lines and balanced proportions make it a highly versatile piece.
