A superb 18th century oak dresser base of excellent colour and patination, fitted with three drawers above three panelled cupboard doors. The drawers retain later period-style brass handles, replaced in the late 18th century. With its well-proportioned form, original panelled sides, and wonderfully warm, rich surface, this is an exceptional example of rural Georgian cabinetry.
