Description
A characterful oak filing cabinet with a wonderfully practical arrangement of shaped trays, each designed for organising papers and correspondence. The drawer fronts retain their original decorative embossed brass handles, and the fronts fall smoothly on brass hinge arms — a pleasing detail that speaks to the quality of its construction.
The cabinet stands on four straight legs with a lower shelf for additional storage, and the sides are enriched with simple carved detail that softens the utilitarian purpose of the piece. The light oak shows attractive grain and a mellow tone, making it both useful and decorative.
A charming and unusual item of office furniture — full of personality, craftsmanship, and the quiet appeal of well‑worked oak.
