A truly magnificent Ziegler carpet, dating back to the last quarter of the nineteenth century.
It is handmade with lustrous, thick, soft wool on a cotton foundation.
A real original Ziegler, featuring rich colours made with all vegetable dyes and such thick velvety pile, it has an elegant sheen.
In perfect condition this pretty rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
All our rugs are dusted and professionally hand washed at our specialist premises, ready for use.
