This is an exceptional brass inlaid rosewood library table, circa 1825, in excellent showroom condition.
The richly figured rosewood top is decorated with fine brass string inlay and mother-of-pearl circles, finished all around so it can stand freely in the centre of a room.
The front features two freize drawers, providing practical storage while preserving the elegant proportions.
Standing on a central column with a quatreform base and casters, the table is both decorative and functional.
A superb example of early 19th-century craftsmanship, ready to grace any home or collection.
