Antique Victorian Painted Pine Dresser Dog Kennel Base, c 1860
An excellent example of a solid pine Victorian housekeeper’s dresser, in painted finish, dating from the mid 19th century. Three full width shelved gallery top, single plank base over three frieze drawers. Flanked by panel doors opening to reveal further fitted shelving space. The central section with “dog kennel” space. Very solid and sturdy piece throughout. This is an excellent example!
