Description
A most attractive Mid 19th Century Antique Victorian Gaudy Welsh Pottery Jug of panelled hexagonal form, brightly decorated in sparkling colours with the “Snowdonia” pattern. Some paint loss to this piece, but still a lovely example of an uncommon design. For reference, see the smaller jug of this shape and pattern illustrated in Volume I, Page 34 of Monica South’s work, “Gaudy Welsh, A Visual Reference Book”, where she attributes the piece to the Cambrian Pottery, { Dillwyn } at Swansea.
