A handsome and completely original Gothic solid oak cabinet bookcase, dating from the mid to late 19th century,
Of excellent quality cabinetmaking throughout. Cushion moulded cornice over two tall astragal glazed doors, revealing 16 fitted shelves. Useful double panelled door storage to the base section. Having been situated in a renowned solicitor’s office for over 100 years.
The colour is sublime with patination commensurate with age and use. A lovely and honest piece.
