Antique Oak Painted Kitchen Workbench Island Counter, c 1850
A solid English oak workbench counter, dating from the mid 19th century. Scrubbed plank oak top with cleated ends, over panelled sides, panelled double doors open to reveal open storage area. Surmounted on by plinth base. Over triple panelled front, to panelled sides, to further single panelled door, opening to reveal a full length interior shelf. Turned oak knobs. Lovely solid condition throughout.
