A rare and particularly fine Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Pottery Tureen Stand, by James and Ralph Clews of Cobridge, Staffordshire { { 1818 – 1834 }, beautifully moulded and printed in a medium blue palette with the “Romantic Ruins” Pattern. The reverse with impressed Maker’s mark “G R above a crown, CLEWS, WARRANTED, STAFFORDSHIRE”, { Little, Mark No. 9 }.
