Description

A charming oak cradle in the 17th century manner, richly carved and panelled, incorporating an earlier relief panel depicting Adam and Eve beneath the Tree of Knowledge. The sides with foliate-carved panels and turned spindle galleries, beneath a hinged canopy. Raised on shaped rockers with turned corner finials. The dark patina and timeworn surface add to its decorative appeal.
