A fine and elegant black-lacquered chinoiserie corner cabinet dating from around 1710, beautifully decorated throughout with detailed gilt scenes.
The door panel features an intricate landscape with figures and stylised foliage, framed by patterned borders and delicate gilded flourishes.
The decoration continues around the sides and lower section, all raised on slender legs joined by a turned stretcher.
This cabinet comes in two parts for ease of placement and includes a working key. The interior offers three shaped lacquered shelves.
In good condition for its age, showing expected wear and minor surface imperfections consistent with more than 300 years of use, yet presenting exceptionally well.
