Description
1850’s Luxury French Chocolate Box, with a pietra dora plaque set into gold gilt metal ,in the centre. The actual box has been made from a light wood , then painted & lined with paper, all the embellishments are gold gilt metal, including the Royal Crest clasp. The four tiny feet on the base are brass. The label on the inside lid gives a history of “Masson Paris” chocolates & the medals they won in the Great Exhibitions in London 1851 & Paris 1855.
