Pair of Antique English Victorian Brass and Glass Candle-lamps

A rare Pair of Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass and Glass Candle-lamps in the gothic taste, their spring-loaded tubes in good order, and remarkably, still retaining their original shades. These of a cherry-red colour, somewhere between cranberry and ruby, with both colour and botanical decoration matching the columns of each lamp, which rise from stepped round brass bases. Somewhat surprisingly, it would appear that suitable candles for use with such antique lamps are probably still available today, Ref. Charles Farris 1845 Chandlers London.
