Actually a “Wernicke” bookcase as it precedes the merger of The Globe Files Company and the Wernicke Company so can be dated 1893 – 1900
Nicely figured oak of good colour, the cornice over 2 glazed up&over doors raised on plinth base. Both the cornice and base are stamped “Wernicke”
As with all our stock this bookcase has been through the workshop to ensure the best is bought out of the timbers and everything works as it should.
