A good quality William IV mahogany chiffonier, the raised two-tier open superstructure with turned spindle supports above a moulded top, the base fitted with two frieze drawers over a pair of arched panel cupboard doors enclosing a shelved interior, flanked by bold cannon-barrel turned columns and raised on original turned bun feet.
Constructed in well-figured mahogany with a rich, warm patina, this attractive chiffonier displays the restrained elegance associated with the William IV period. Both practical and decorative, it provides useful cupboard storage together with generous display shelving, making it an ideal piece for a dining room, drawing room or hallway.
