A fine quality William IV period circular breakfast table in richly figured mahogany, dating to circa 1830.
The well-figured top displays particularly attractive grain and colour variation, with a broad moulded edge and a pleasing, warm patina developed over time. The timber selection is notably good, giving the piece strong visual presence.
The table is raised on a bold octagonal pedestal support, standing on a shaped platform base. This is supported by well-carved lion’s paw feet, a characteristic feature of the William IV period, combining strength with decorative refinement.
The proportions are excellent, making it both practical and highly decorative — equally suited as a breakfast or centre table.
Presented in good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
