A substantial and well-proportioned oak library bookcase comprising four sections, each fitted with adjustable shelves. The whole is surmounted by a moulded cornice, with fluted pilasters dividing the sections and lending architectural presence.
The frieze is fitted with two pull-out book slides, an increasingly sought-after feature, providing additional surface space for consulting or displaying books. Raised on a moulded plinth base.
The oak displays a warm, even colour and attractive grain throughout. The scale and restrained design make this an ideal piece for a traditional library, study or large sitting room, while remaining versatile enough for modern interiors.
