An Arts & Crafts quarter sawn solid oak writing desk by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple c1900. The desk top has a leather skiver over three drawers across the front elevation, having curved section fronts with straight fronted drawers below, all with original copper handles. The perimeter of the desk is formed by heart shaped cut-out splats, with rear bottom corner shelves. The desk stands on square section legs with fluted detailing ending with casters.

In very good condition, all the drawers run well. Locks present but no key. Age related stains and wear to the leather skiver, but no rips or scuffs.
