Circa 1880. George II style crossbanded figured walnut knee hole desk. The desk top in mirror-matched figured walnut with crossbanding and moulded, shaped front. The three frieze drawers with matching crossbanding, cut brass engraved handles opening to solid mahogany drawer linings and brass locks (sign of quality). A central shaped knee hole flanked by banks of three drawers supported on neat moulded bases with ogee bracket feet.
