A charming walnut bureau bookcase of small proportions, the fall front opening to reveal a fitted interior with pigeonholes and small drawers above a tooled leather writing surface. The upper section with a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing two shelves, framed by crossbanded detail and cross grain mouldings to the cornice and doors. The lower section fitted with four oak-lined graduated drawers, each with brass swan-neck handles, raised on bracket feet. Retains two working keys.
