● A Menorah, is a multi branched candelabra used in religious rituals of Judaism – Judaica
● The defining characteristic of a Hanukkah menorah is eight lights in a row
● The ninth lamp is called a shamash
● Eight days symbolizes the number of days that the Temple lantern is blazed
● It is usually used for Chanukkah
● This one is Silver plated
● Unusually, I have not touched or cleaned it, it still has previously used candles wax in and on it.
● Sadly the Plating has seen better days
● Condition:- The top of the base is well worn with bare metal showing in places, All the above is very good
● Markings – None
● Dimensions / Size: Height 12″ – Width 10 5/8“
● Materials: – Silver Plated
This menorah once cleaned up will last for many years as it is very solid and quite heavy.
