Exquisite Rock Crystal SILVER carnelian & Amber necklace Arabic Islamic design
This is a beautiful necklace as shown in the images above.
It is all hand made from chips of rock crystal & amber with two sterling silver pendants/drops containing a carnelian stone..
It is very long at 43 inches (110cm) as it is designed to be wrapped around the neck like a scarf.
There is a lot of thought that has gone into this wonderful work of art: the rock crystal is separated by ‘spacers’: three pieces of amber. The drops are hand made/cast individually as each pendant is slightly different.
Both pendants are hallmarked with the TINIEST mark: a ‘925’ stamp with Arabic letters above it and some Arabic letters to the side. This hallmark is only 2mm wide!
Each pendant has a stunning oval polished deep red carnelian stone set in that can be seen from both sides. Above each stone is a hexagon containing beautiful Arabic calligraphy. Above the hexagon: one has a panel of floral design and the other has a date in Arabic which corresponds to 2002.
