(1) All items will come with a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) on request stating approximate age, material of manufacture and culture of origin.
(2) Please read the description, look at the photographs and ask any questions before you agree to make a purchase. All terms and conditions apply for returns.
(3) If an item is proven significantly NOT to be as described then it may be returned (at your cost) for a refund. Items return request must be opened within 30 days after purchase. Please note that refunds will be minus (less) a 10% return fee to cover handling and administrative costs. Items may only be returned if proven in writing from a Museum or an international auction house not to be as described. You must contact us for a return reference number prior to sending an item back.
(4) It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for any taxes, licences, charges or fees for import and other related costs.
(5) Please note that payment is due within 3 days of Confirmation of Purchase (CoP).
(6) Payment by bank transfer, cheque and cash is acceptable (do NOT send cash in the post).
(7) Items will only be sent once payment has cleared. Cheques only acceptable from UK Banks in sterling (£).
(8) We will accept payments from Paypal in only £sterling or US$Dollar. Please note that due to fees associated with conversion rates, a small handling fee will be added to US$Dollar payments.
(9) All dimensions and measurements will be as accurate as possible but are stated as approximate.
(10) Most item prices include insured postage with a signature on receipt. Heavy and rare items may incur additional postage and use of a courier. Please ask at CoP.
(11) Any items lost or damaged in transit must be reported within 10 days of dispatch.
(12) You are covered under existing UK legislation for distant selling.
(13) Payment by instalments: All items will remain the sole property of Islamique Antiques until the final payment has been made.
(14) Postage & handling/shipping will be quoted prior to Confirmation of Postage. Gift packaging is available at extra cost.
(15) These Terms and Conditions may be updated and amended without prior notification.
