Circa 1830. A good William IV rosewood framed side chair, the shaped cresting rail with scrolling on the end supported by two turned and tapering uprights, the back with a simple splat flanked two shaped ones with elegant finials, with a pierced frieze beneath. The stuff over seat with interesting red and gold needle point, held in place by cord, with curved seat rail, back legs are square and wavy, front legs are turned and ring turned, all of the legs braced by elegant turned stretchers, with great colour and patination.
