Circa 1830. Exceptional quality William IV freestanding rosewood library table. The rectangular top in figured Brazilian rosewood with cross banded fore-edges above two frieze drawers with relief foliate carvings and cedar drawer linings. The sides and the back with matching foliate carvings. All supported on two exceptional acanthus-carved, turned legs on circular platforms with further foliate carving over deeply carved lion claw feet with hidden brass casters.
