The whole desk is veneered all round in high quality decorative figured walnut with a beautiful honey coloured patina,
The top is fitted with the original mid-tan hide writing leather which is decorated with blind tooling. It is surrounded by a 2 inch band of burr walnut with a carved gadroon boarder. Below are fitted 5 drawers with mahogany drawer linings and gilt brass. Raised on cabroile legs finishing on claw ball feet. Excellent patina and condition
