Very much in the Arts & Crafts style of manufacture, with great emphasis on puritan techniques and design. Solid plank top with exquisitely carved frieze, over trestle base with pegged joints. A delightful piece of handmade English furniture, from one of the now retired, leading oak furniture designers of the 20th century.Â
