A beautiful Victorian Burr Walnut Davenport with inlays of mahogany, box and satinwood. Lifting the lid on the top to reveals a stationery/pen section above the sloped leather writing surface which has a satinwood interior with two mahogany lined drawers and two false drawers with finely turned handles (one is missing) The central panel below is flanked by spiral, ring turned supports with attractive carvings to top and bottom which finishing on flat bun feet on original castors. On the right side, 4 mahogany lined drawers with bun handles with dummy drawers on the left side. This piece is in very good condition, having minor wear commensurate with age and use having an unbeatable patina.
