Description
The delightful 9ct gold Victorian Pendant Brooch features a centre 3.2 mm turquoise cabochon collet surrounded by eight 2.25 mm natural half pearls in a raised scalloped setting.The openwork yellow gold mount is embellished with six radiating wires from the centre cluster,each terminated with a 2 mm turquoise,all within an outer scalloped border decorated with further turquoise collet, and alternating with seed pearl crescent motifs .
The pendant is surmounted by a removable palmette style pendant loop and grain set with seed pearls.
The reverse reveals a pin and retaining loop,and a clear “9ct” mark.
This is a very clean and adaptable piece of antique jewellery in excellent original condition and would make an excellent gift or addition to any collection.
