Description
Victorian mahogany envelope card table. The table is constructed in the Rococo revival style, having square cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving to the top and bottom of the cabriole legs terminating with casters.
The cross stretchers have a lattice design with central finial.
The table is fitted with a small drawer to store games and cards.
The top swivels and opens to reveal the original baize playing surface and wells for playing counters or coins.
A release button enables the first leaf to raise sufficiently to lift up.
