Fabulous French armoire from the fantastic Victorian era with station labels from Paris-Ivry (dispatched from) and Poitiers ( destination). Made from gorgeous walnut with veneers to the side in a herringbone pattern. The canopy is beautifully carved and sits on two bevelled mirror door which open to a spacious storage area with adjustable shelf and two drawers at the bottom. Standing on a carved base with elegantly shaped legs and escargot feet. The armoire completely dismantles for easy transportation. In excellent condition with only marks etc in line with age and use. There is some foxing to both mirrors (shown in the photos) but that is what adds to the charm of this beautiful double door armoire.
