Description
Circa 1880, with alterations. Tall mid-Victorian mahogany three-section open bookcase. Surmounted by an architectural moulded cornice with dentil decoration, the three bookcase sections (wider in the middle) each with five adjustable shelves and flanked and separated by simple upright pilasters, all supported on a shaped plinth base. The clean lines of this classical bookcase would suit a modern or traditional home. In excellent condition.
